A bicycle bar crawl, a tall hottie, a drink, and a dance. The rest was history after the adorable Jenifer and Jason first locked eyes in 2009! After countless beach weekends and happy-hours, Jenifer knew she had met the man of her dreams when he proposed to her with Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas is You" playing and a pepporoni pizza in the oven when she was supposed to be on a diet. Could a girl ask for more??To top off the fairy tale, the ceremony and reception took place at the Mt. Woodson castle. Golf for him and magical rustic ambience for her: talk about the best compromise ever! We loved shooting this venue because the sunny outdoor location of the dinner and speeches took us straight back to the weddings that we've shot in Italy. So many fun memories. :)
The dynamics between Jenifer and her mom, sister, and niece were to die for! It was so sweet to watch how excited and pumped they all were for the big day. The adorable flower girl even decided that she wanted to become a photographer when she grew up. She was giving us a run for our money with the pictures that she was taking by the end of the night!
Jenifer was stunning in a timeless cap-sleeve gown by Allure and the bridesmaids were pretty as could be in dresses from the Vera Wang Collection. With the gorgeous dresses and makeup by Audra Renee, the women were nothing short of super model status! Jason and the groomsmen were just as easy on the eyes with the groom's suit coming from Nordstrom's and the groomsmen's suits coming from Macy's.
One of our favorite parts of the day was shooting the bride and bridesmaids in a cool rock-filled location that we stumbled upon. It gave the ladies awesome props to work with and really allowed them to live it up and shine! Laughter and smiles were everywhere and we were able to get some beautiful shots of them playing and having fun!
The reveal of the bride and groom was such a special moment. The open lawn and stone wall were a perfect location, and the two couldn't take their eyes off of one another. They both looked so great, who could blame them?
Love was in the air as the fun loving couple and guests chugged from a huge glass bottle of alcohol and got the party started! It was so amazing to watch two families becoming one in such a fun-loving and cool style.
Who doesn't want to photograph a beautifully designed wedding? Cara from Luxe created a gorgeous event that we were thrilled to photograph. The flowers from Organic Elements were dreamy. I could not stop photographing them. The ever talented Audra Rene glammed up the ladies. We were estatic.
Congratulations to Jen and Jason!
We love you!
