4 THINGS...Whirlwind

We are finished with weddings for the year but I am still spinning with creativity for family shoots [others and my own] and personal passion projects. Life is beautiful.Watching:Annie on broadway

Photographing: Family portraits - so many cute babies, a cool behind the scenes shoot at CAKE and a rad secret backyard dinner.

Dreaming of: A quick trip to SF and Napa...I wonder if I can pull off this wild time of year.

Something New: Starting a new videography class for our daily memories.

4 THINGS...STAY PRESENT

It all goes by so fast! I am trying my hardest to stay present and enjoy every itty bit of it.Fun:A Pinterest board called BOO! - it's been fun to add entertaining ideas to it.

Photographing: Family portraits, kids in costumes and my own family.

Dreaming of: all of it; the last two crazy months of the year, production, shooting tons of portraits, my new personal projects, spending time with my family, the holidays. Right now is a wild ride and I want to stay as present as possible.

Making: I've been creating a cute little series of images of my nephew as Charlie Brown. It's been sweet to shop for his outfit, customize it, involve my family and play in Photoshop.

4 THINGS...FLOATING

What an incredible, wild, creative and inspiring four months with 14 wedding weekends in a row! And now, time for some Z's.

Dreaming of: a hot air balloon shoot. We woke up this morning in Temecula and saw over a dozen floating weightlessly in the sky.

Photographing: my beautiful friends Randy and Jonathan and Erica and Alex. I'm feeling blessed to witness my dear friends find love. A double weekend to end wedding season on a high note!

Reading: half way through Orange Is The New Black. It's been fun to compare the book and the series.

Watching: Scandal. It's so fun to check out for an hour and watch the craziness unfold for Olivia Pope.

4 THINGS...SOAK IT UP

I am feeling reminiscent and soaking up our second to last wedding weekend of 2015 with a hugely grateful heart. What a year it has been!Shooting: A magical night photo walk with Mike at Balboa Park. Candy and Sam's epic destination estate wedding at the Hansen Mansion in Coronado, one of my favorite properties.

Watching:Full Gallop at the Old Globe Theater - an inspiring one woman show.

Dreaming of: Our last wedding weekend of the year. I can't wait to see both of my friends marry their loves.

Swimming: In the rain! It's been another hot and humid week and I am ready for some cool relief.
