It is incredibly important to have a good line up of pose ideas to create a variety of images and be able to adjust to different clients. We do everything we can to help our clients look as stunning on camera as they do in real life. Our strategy is to photograph quickly and in an organized way. Whether you’re getting ready for a bridal shoot, family portraits, or a branding session, we love giving prompts and tips on how to look good in real-time .
At weddings, the bride’s getting ready room is where the posing magic happens. We give a brief, but in-depth posing lesson to help our clients look their best in photos. Tips include how to best show off their shape and avoid unflattering positions, but most importantly, how to relax and have fun.
We know that family and bridal party portraits are often the most highly anticipated images. We also understand that these photos make amazing gifts for your bridesmaids, family, and friends. The goal is to make the experience enjoyable while creating images that you and your loved ones will love to look back on for the rest of your lives.
Our strategy for taking these group photos is to make sure the background is beautiful. We love a stunning backlit shot, with leaks of sun rays shining from behind smiling faces. This way, we can ensure the sun isn’t in anyone’s eyes and that everyone feels comfortable.
Whether your vibe is a downtown rooftop, a luxury rustic hotel like Estancia, the colorful backdrop of Spanish Village at Balboa park or a gorgeous floral installation in your living room, we strive to capture images that have a certain quality of joy to them. We want you to feel comfortable, authentic, and beautiful.
